Rita Hoehn

Rita Paralee Hoehn, 94, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026 in Graham. Rosary will be Wednesday July 8, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be Thursday July 9, 2026 at 10:30 in Saint Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Rita was born January 28, 1932 in Amarillo to the late William H. and Bonnie Lee (Witt) King. She married William "Bill" Bernard Hoehn June 12, 1950 in Amarillo and he preceded her in death February 6, 2020 in Jacksboro. Rita was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Rita was highly active throughout her life in her church communities including St. Mary’s in Graham, St. Francis Cabrini in Pasadena, TX, St. Hyacinth’s in Deer Park, TX, and St. Peter and Paul in Dumas, TX. She also participated in the arts associations wherever she lived. Most importantly, she held a lifelong passion for family,

Survivors include: son, David Hoehn and wife, Debbi of Sierra Vista, Arizona; daughter, Louanne Elliott and husband, Bill of Graham; son, Brian Hoehn and wife, Brenda of Azle; daughter, Julie Hoehn of Graham; son, Christopher Hoehn of Houston; daughter, Melissa Schewe and husband, Mark of Lenoir, North Carolina; grandchildren, Cliff Hoehn, Michael Hoehn, Misty Hosey, Alex Hoehn, Lauren White, Dani Hoehn, Nathan Hoehn, Patrick Hoehn, and Liana Amador, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; siblings, Anne Winter of Pflugerville and James King and wife, Evelyn of Amarillo.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph King, and grandchildren, Adam Hoehn, Russell Hoehn, and Melissa Hoehn.
