Rita Kaye Newell

Rita Kaye Newell, 77, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022 at home in Graham.  Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 28, 2022 at 2 p.m. in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Rita was born April 24, 1945 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Nola Mae (Davis) Brown and Bobby Lee Williams.  She was owner of On Broadway Salon in Moore, Oklahoma for 20 years.  Rita was a member of Country Road Fellowship in Graham.  She was an active member of the Senior Citizens Center Quilting Club.

Survivors include: son, Wes Condley and wife, Hanna of Moore, Oklahoma; daughter, Chelan Melton and husband, Jim of Graham; son, Gerald Newell and wife, Candace of Moore, Oklahoma; sisters, Bonnie Couser of Moore, Oklahoma and Bobbi Allen of Wichita Falls; brother, Jim Williams of Ft. Mills, South Carolina; grandchildren, Eric Condley of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Cassie Condley of Norman, Oklahoma, Chelsea Condley of Lawton, Oklahoma, Grant Newell of Moore, Oklahoma, David Melton of Abilene, Chris Melton of Graham, and Maranda Melton of Graham; 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; lifelong friend, Cindy Harris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by parents, Nola Mae Brown and Bobby Lee Williams, bonus momma, Mary Williams, grandmother, Olive Zelfa Williams, sister, Anita Williams Mainus, and brother, Michael Lee Williams.
