Robert James (Bob) McQuirk

Robert James (Bob) McQuirk, 91, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday August 28, 2025 at Cornerstone Methodist Church, 705 Indiana Street, Activity Building of Eastside Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.

Bob was born November 21, 1933 in Thomas, Oklahoma to the late Helen Elizabeth (Bradfield) McQuirk and Thomas Arthur McQuirk. His early years were spent in Perry, OK. After graduation from Perry High School in 1951 he moved to Weatherford, OK. where he attended watchmaking school and graduated in February 1953. Bob joined the Army and served in the Korean War.

In the spring of 1959 Bob graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Degree in business administration. After that he pursed many jobs in various sales positions. Finally, he settled in his first love of watchmaking in Dallas, and formed Bob McQuirk, Watchmaker, Time Delay Corporation. After his retirement in 2001, it is still being operated by family. Bob and Rosemary retired to the Loving Ranch in Jermyn and built a home where she still resides.

Survivors include; wife, Rosemary McQuirk; son, Robert; daughter, Laura; stepsons, Robert, Steve, Obbie, and Greg Loving; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
