Ronnie was born January 9, 1956 in Carmi, Illinois to the late L.D. and Mitzi Charolette (Tucker) Dobbs. He worked in the oilfield as a driller. Ronnie was a guy who loved big and with all he had to those he cared for; people and dogs alike. He enjoyed being around family, watching his granddaughters play ball, umpiring baseball games and fishing. He loved spending time outdoors, especially areas around lakes or rivers. Ronnie had a special talent for story telling, aggravating in fun, making you laugh and challenging the way you think. He was adventurous, dedicated and above all generous. Ronnie always gave from the heart any chance he could. Ronnie was a great son, father, brother, grandfather and man.
Survivors include: daughter, Brandy Dobbs and husband, Daniel Vega of Graham; Ronald Dobbs and wife, Courtney of Graham; sisters, Linda Jean Winton-Henning of Independence, Kansas, Denise Cauthen and husband, Marshall of Graham, and Kimberley Hood of Graham; brother, Max Dobbs and wife, Crystal of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Justin Dobbs, Ashley Harrison, Callie Dobbs, Peyton Dobbs, and Brooklyn Dobbs; great grandchildren, Isabella Taylor and Kayden Taylor; girlfriend, Elaine Smith of Graham; mother of his children, LaJuanna Atkinson of Graham.
