R.T. Wells, Jr
R.T. Wells, Jr., 90, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Proffitt Cemetery in Young County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
R.T. was born January 28, 1923 in Proffitt to the late Robert T. and Faye Nora (Gilmore) Wells, Sr. He married Nita Proffitt on February 11, 1945 in Fort Worth. R.T. was a farmer and rancher and a veteran of the United States Army.
Survivors include: wife, Nita Wells of Newcastle; sister, Betty French of Amherst, MA; several nieces and nephews.
