Ruth Carver

With hearts full of gratitude for a life well-lived and peacefully returned to the Lord, we announce the passing of Ruth Carver, who went home to be with her Savior on Saturday, June 21, 2025 at the age of 98.

Born on April 16, 1927 in Fleetwood, Oklahoma to Homer and Livie Holloway. She married the love of her life on August 24, 1946 in Henrietta, TX after dating for two and a half weeks. Ruth was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and faithful servant of Jesus Christ. She was the beloved mother of six children, whose lives were richly blessed by her love, her prayers, her example of unwavering faith and poured out love generously to all who knew her.

She is survived by her sons, Glen Carver and wife Diane, CW Carver, of Graham, James Carver and wife Joyce, of Arlington, daughters Delores Lindgren and husband Doug, of Gulfport, MS, Pat McWhorter and husband Kevin, of Wichita Falls, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other loved ones who will continue to carry her legacy of faith and love. She has now joined her beloved husband, Arvel (Fritz) Carver, her son Dale Carver, and many cherished loved ones in the comforting arms of Christ.

A celebration of her life and faith will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 at 10 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel, with a graveside service following at Pioneer Cemetery in Graham. Friends and family are invited to gather and remember the life of a woman who loved deeply, prayed faithfully, and trusted the Lord in all things.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made in her memory to Abundant Life Graham: 1103 Old Jacksboro Road Graham, TX or to Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
