Santiago Castillo Zamora

Santiago Castillo Zamora, 69, passed away Sunday, June 21, 2026 in Graham. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 11, 2026 at 11 a.m. in Iglesia Bautista Jerusalem.

Santiago was born March 18, 1957 in Huariche, Mexico to the late Natalia Castillo Flores and J Concepcion Zamora. He married Beatriz Padron August 16, 2020 in Graham. Santiago loved spending time with family, being outside and being with animals, cats, goats and dogs. He loved sleeping, watching the news, Tom and Jerry and Scooby Doo cartoons, golfing, fishing, grilling and having cookouts, eating everything, telling stories of his life experiences, dancing, math, welding, painting, construction projects and telling jokes.

Survivors include: wife, Beatriz Padron Zamora of Graham; daughters, Maribel Zamora, Betty Zamora, Natalia Zamora, and Marissa Zamora all of Graham; sons, James Zamora and Jilian of Port Wenworth, Georgia, Santiago Zamora of Graham, and Nehemias Zamora of Graham; siblings, Isaias Zamora Castillo of Coahuila, Mexico, Blanca Estela Zamora Castillo of Coahuila, Mexico, David Zamora Castillo of Coahuila, Mexico, Maria Eva Zamora Castillo of Jacksboro, Martin Zamora Castillo of Coahuila, Mexico, Ma Concepcion Zamora Castillo of Houston, and Maria Del Carmen Zamora Castillo of Coahuila, Mexico

He was preceded in death by brothers, Saul Zamora Castillo, Juan Antonio Zamora Castillo, Jose Cruz Zamora Castillo, Richard Castillo Zamora, and Felipe de Jesus Zamora and sister, Apolonia Zamora Castillo.
