Shirley Jean Caviness-Long

Shirley Jean Caviness-Long, age 82, passed away in Wichita Falls on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. A service will be held at The Cowboy Church Gatherin’ on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery at 1:30 PM.

Shirley was born in Graham on March 1, 1941 to George and Eula Mae (Mowery) Moreland. Shirley was a devoted Christian woman of faith. She loved serving others, especially our nation’s veterans, through multiple organizations. She was a loving mother to her sons, Tory and Big Randy, and proud grandmother to grandson, Little Randy.

Shirley is survived by her son, Tory Caviness of Graham, and grandson, Charles Randal Allen Caviness (Little Randy) of Graham.

She is preceded in death by her son, Charles Randall Caviness (Big Randy), and husband, Gerald Long.
