Martha Sue "Susie" (Statler) Dillin November 12, 1946 - May 8, 2026 Martha Sue "Susie" Statler Dillin went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 8, 2026 at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, TX where she lived. She was born on November 12, 1946 in Mineral Wells, TX to Tivis Edward Statler Jr. and Naomi Favors, the second of four children. She married Dennis R. Dillin on August 6, 1965. She was a loving wife and mother. She loved spending time with family and friends. She is now in the loving arms of her God and free of pain and sorrow.

Survivors include: her husband of almost 61 years, Dr. Dennis R. Dillin; daughter, Jamie Lynn Dillin of League City, Tx; son Ramon "Ray" Alexander Dillin of Temple, TX; two brothers, Tivis Edward Statler III of Breckenridge, TX and Charles William "Chuck" Statler and wife Sherry of Abilene, TX; one sister, Carol Smith of Graham, TX. She was preceded in death by both her father and mother.

Martha loved children, people and animals. Her hobbies were embroidery and sewing. She valued higher education and completed a BS and Master's degree while working full time, taking care of her children and husband, and going to school. She was a devout Christian having served in her church as a children's Sunday School teacher and a Youth Director for several years. She worked 25 years in almost every aspect of Respiratory Care and was forced to retire from the position of Department Supervisor at S&W after a severe heart attack.

Martha was a bright light in the world and will be sorely missed. Arrangements for a Celebration of her life are pending. Interment will be in Pioneer Cemetery, Graham, TX at a later date. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital for Children.
