Trenton Todd Bonner

Trenton Todd Bonner beloved son passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025 surrounded by family. Trent was a young 53 years and lived a full but short life.

Born on June 19,1972 in La Jolla, California. Trent had a deep love for family and his many friends at La Jolla High School. Though not a large person, Trent excelled in sports especially football and track. As a young person, living in Texas, Trent was active in Pop Warner Football. Even through Trent was not large, he was a hard hitter. His Pop Warner Coach said of Trent that “The luck ones got away.” His Coach videoed the practices and games (only in Texas). Prior to moving back to La Jolla, Trent attended the Oklahoma University Football Camp.

Moving back to La Jolla in August, 1986, Trent attended Muirlands Middle School, but played on the varsity football team. Aggressive and tough, Trent once broke his wrist but finished the game with the injury. Trent’s Senior Year at La Jolla High, Trent tried his hand at Pole Vaulting and did quite well as a first-year tryout. Tough sport.

In Trent’s young life, Trent had 4 wonderful girlfriends Tracey, Julie, Amie, and Carolyn and as the saying goes, “Trent loved them all the same.” In truth, the ladies loved Trent. Trent will be remembered for his warmth and love for his family and La Jolla High School friends. Trent lives behind a legacy of having a fun time with his friends. Trent’s male and female friends at his Celebration of Life Party at El Ranchero Restaurant numbered over 60 friends.

Trent decided many years ago to do something special and that was to be an organ donor. Trent gave his liver to a male in his 30’s that lives in Southern California, his right kidney went to a male in his 40’s that lives in Southern California (he was on dialysis for 15 years) and his left kidney to a female in her 70’s that lives in Southern California (she was on dialysis for 8 years).

Trent is survived by his father, Hal Trenton Bonner and stepmother Karen Nowell Bonner, brother Darik Lyndan Bonner, stepsisters Kelly Conover (Robert), Joey Lauren Adams (Brian Vilim), stepbrother Michael Gage Adams, Uncles Danny and David Orr, Aunts Charlotte Bonner Barnett (Don), Lynn Orr Nees (Gordon) Lisa Orr Priddy (Curtis and many cousins.

Trent’s Mother Diana Orr Bonner and sister Danielle Lynn Bonner (Puff) and grandparents Wanda Todd Meacham, and Daniel and Virginia Orr, proceeded Trent in death.
