Wanda Sue Harris

Wanda Sue Harris, 78, passed away at her home in Newcastle Saturday August 23, 2025. Family visitation will be Monday August 25, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home. Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday August 26, 2025 at First Baptist Church Newcastle. Burial will follow in Newcastle Cemetery.

Wanda was born April 18, 1947 in Noble, Oklahoma to the late Naomi Lillian (Jones) Ogle and L.C. Ogle. She married Frank Harris, Jr. in 2002 in Ballinger, Texas. Wanda was a longtime resident of Newcastle and a member of First Baptist Church Newcastle. She loved going to Rodeos with her daughter and grandson Tradd and making all the great grandkids sports for years. She loved shopping and meeting up with her girlfriends for lunch at Carla’s Café.

Survivors include; husband, Frank Harris, Jr. of Newcastle; daughter, Wendy Brown and husband Heath of Granbury; grandchildren, Tradd Strawbridge and wife Latrisha of Newcastle, Hagen Ward and wife Taylor of Fort Worth; great grandchildren, Cash and Ty Strawbridge, Kingsley Richey, Costner and Bowen Ward; numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in by her parents; daughter, Cindy Sloan; granddaughter, Heather Self; sisters, Lahoma Tramell and Barbara Bryant; brothers, Elton, Billy, Robert, Cody, Bural, Wesley, Milton, and Larry Ogle.
