Wendell Cates

Wendell Lee Cates, 63, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 in Corpus Christi after a long illness.  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Wendell was born February 2, 1959 in Olney to Rudolph and Jarene (Kee) Cates.  He went to school in Graham.  He lived in Texas all his life and helped his dad with his painting business.  Wendell was easy going, things did not bother him.  He loved everybody and lived like he wanted to.

Survivors include; mother, Jarene Cates of Graham; sister, Lisa Diann Cates of Graham; brothers, Wayne Cates of Arlington and Curtis Cates of Jacksboro.
