W.H. "Bill" Butler

W.H. "Bill" Butler, 84, died Sunday, December 14, 2008 in Graham. Funeral services are scheduled Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in Eastside Church of Christ with Dorman Holub, minister officiating. Burial will be Thursday, December 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Fairview Cemetery in Memphis, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bill was born February 4, 1924 in Lakeview, Texas to the late James Howard and Mattie Belle (Anthony) Butler. He attended West Texas Teachers College and Army Flight School. Bill was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps serving during World War II. He married Letrice Saunders March 3, 1943 in Memphis, Texas. Bill was a heavy equipment salesman most of his life before moving to Graham in 1975 from Houston. While in Graham Bill owned the White's Auto Store and was an employee of Oliver Medical Supply. He was a member of Eastside Church of Christ.

Survivors include; wife, Letrice Butler of Graham; daughters, Susan Butler of Clarksville, TN., Sharon Moore and husband Steve of Graham, and Tammy Bertrand and husband of Tom Fort Worth; five granddaughters, Cheryl Victoria Seals, Leah Moore Ellis, Jana Moore, Jamie Bertrand, and Paige Bertrand; three great grandchildren, Kathrine, Robert, and Evelyn.
