William "Bill" Hoehn

William "Bill" Hoehn

William "Bill" Bernard Hoehn, 91, passed away Thursday, February 6, 2020 in Jacksboro.  Rosary will be Friday, February 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral mass will be February 15, 2020 at 10:30 AM in Saint Mary's Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

 

Bill was born March 30, 1928 in Muenster to the late Albert T. and Bertha (Donnelly) Hoehn.  He married Rita Marie (King) June 12, 1950 in Amarillo.  Bill worked for Phillips Petroleum and Chemical as a Maintenance Supervisor for 40 years.  He was a member of Saint Mary's Catholic Church and Boy Scouts of America as Institutional Representative and served as Assistant Scout Master, Liturgy Chairman Eucharistic Minister and Usher.  Bill loved to remodel each home they lived in to suit their taste and working with wood and his hands.  He never lost his ability to give good hugs.

 

Survivors include: wife, Rita Hoehn of Graham; son, David Hoehn and wife, Debbi of Sierra Vista, Arizona; daughter, Louanne Elliott and husband, Bill of Graham; son, Brian Hoehn and wife, Brenda of Azle; daughter, Julie Hoehn of Graham; son, Christopher Hoehn of Pasadena; daughter, Melissa Schewe and husband, Mark of Flower Mound; 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; brother, Joe John "Jack" Hoehn and wife, Jeanne of Weatherford.   

 

He was preceded in death by brothers, Albert Hoehn and Clarence "Bud" Hoehn, sisters, Aileen Cler and Bertha "Jane" Hoehn, and grandchildren, Russell and Melissa Hoehn.
