William J. "Bill" Bass

William J. “Bill” Bass, 95, passed away Friday, August 7, 2020.  Graveside funeral will be Monday, August 10, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bill was born June 21, 1925 in Greenville, Texas to the late Minola Pearl (Furlong) Day and William Jennings Bass.  Bill was a Veteran of the United States Navy.  He married Dorothy Jean Cody June 18, 1943 in Amarillo, she preceded him in death on November 16, 2007.  Bill retired from Bell System in Austin after 30 years of service.  He moved to Graham in 1995 from Austin and became a Real Estate Broker.  Bill was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Graham.

Survivors include; sons, Rick Bass and wife Kathy of Plano and Cary Bass and wife, Kima of Graham;  grandchildren, Justin and Brandon Bass, Elena Granados, Irina Gavrilova, Maya White, Mya Aguirre, Austin Bass, Lillian Bass, Landon Bass, and James Bass.
