William Boyce "Bill" Rogers

William Boyce "Bill" Rogers, 76, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at his home in Graford. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Graford Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bill was born on March 15, 1932 in Taft, Texas to the late Hubert H. and Ottilla (Moss) Rogers. Bill was raised by Edgar and Inez Moss Steele, Sr. He graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelor Degree in 1953 and a Masters Degree from Tarleton State University. Bill was a longtime resident of Young and Palo Pinto Counties. He married June Duncan in Graford. She preceded him in death in 1992.

Survivors include: daughter, Laura Gay Burdick of Graford; sons, Glenn Moss Rogers and wife Mandy of Aledo and Gregg Allen Rogers of Dripping Springs; sister, Joan Brannon of San Antonio; brother, Jack Rogers of Los Angeles, California; grandchildren, Cortney Trammell and husband Jody, Ashley King, Meg Rogers Nguyen and husband Mike, Ginny Rogers, Ben Rogers, and Leah Rogers; great grandchildren, Alyssa and Brooklyn King.

He was preceded in death by grandsons, Jake King and Holt Rogers and brother, Edgar Steele, Jr.
