Betty Ann Jackson

Betty Ann Maxwell Jackson, 79, passed away in Abilene on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 14, 2021 at 11 AM in Newcastle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Betty was born on October 27, 1941 in Tipton, Oklahoma to Ruben Burton Maxwell, Sr. and Dorothy Maxine Shipman. She was one of six children growing up. On February 28, 1959 she married Robert (Bob) Jackson, they were married for 48 years before he preceded her in death on August 29, 2008.

Betty is survived by her sisters, Nancy Hudson and husband Tommy of Abilene, and Teresa Groit and husband Scott of Minnesota; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, parents, brothers, R.B. Maxwell and Charles Maxwell, and sister Brenda Martin.
