On September 10, 1946 Ms. Dorothy was born. At the age of 73, on May 24th, 2020, God opened His great big arms and pulled her to His loving bosom, as He finally had His beautiful gift He gave us, back home where she began. Funeral will be Friday 2:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, with services led by Wayne Harden. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
You see, Dorothy was a TRUE GIFT from God for all to receive her love, her joy, and her sense of humor if they sought her out. Her wisdom surpassed most people I have ever known. Her Heart had no boundaries and on the day she was born, her name was written in the Book of Life. To me, her life was cut too short, but who can blame a God for receiving her back home? She was His before she was ours, He saw her body struggling and He set those struggles free.
Dorothy is reunited in heaven with her mom and dad, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters, and survived by one brother and 2 sisters, and by countless nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, who she adored and too many friends to count. I pray she has found the skip in her step and is hand in hand with those she loved.
A meal is planned for her family and friends at Grace Baptist Church at noon in honor of her cherished life. She loved that little church.
