Harold was born December 29, 1948 in Clarksville, Texas, to Joyce Laverne Stinson and Walter Erby Stinson. He was the oldest of three children, and enjoyed his status as "big brother" to sisters Nythalia and Kandy.

As a boy growing up in Avery, Texas, he enjoyed being outdoors, playing baseball and basketball, teasing and playing tricks on his sisters, and spending time with his grandparents.

After serving in the Vietnam War, Harold and his wife Pam settled their lives in Graham, Texas, where they raised three children and built a strong faith-based family unit around the Christian values of love, forgiveness, compassion, and servitude.

Harold was a dedicated and loyal servant of God, always eager to engage believers and non-believers alike in spiritual conversations. He graciously served as Deacon of the Redeemer Church in Graham, and gladly opened his home to his fellow parishioners for weekly Bible study and worship.

Harold's greatest attribute was his unwavering love and dedication to his family. He was a devoted husband who loved, cherished and honored his wife for 52 years. To his children, he was a doting father, mentor, provider, and ultimately, best friend. He became very active in all his childrens' lives, having coached many of their sports teams, served as President of the Graham High School Band Boosters Club, and proudly attended every recital, competition and performance, often with a camera or video equipment in tow.

He was very active in the community, and developed many lasting friendships through his church activities and social involvements. Harold was highly revered by many and often described as one of the most honorable men they knew.

He will be greatly missed.

Rest in peace, Harold Wayne Stinson.  We love you.
